• The league cup will be played within each division, with the only exception being the highest league in each country.
• All 18 teams in the respective league qualify for the league cup.
• The league cup comprises of a group phase and a knock-out Phase.
• 6 groups are drawn for the group phase each of which consists of 3 teams. Each team plays each other twice in a first leg and second leg and play a total of 4 games.
• The group winners (total of 6 teams) as well as the 2 best runners up, each qualify for the knock out phase.
• The knock-out phase consists of a quarter final, semi final and final.
• The quarter and semi finals will be played over a first and second leg. The final consists of one game.
• No bonuses are paid as part of the league cup.
• The income from the respective home games is fully kept by the home team. Income from the final game is split 50:50 between both competing teams .

Two teams from among the second-placed teams in the group stage qualify for the knockout phase. These teams will are determined by the following criteria:

• better point total from all group games
• better goal difference from all group games
• greater number of goals scored in all group games
• greater number of games won in group stage

If two or more teams, after completion of the group, have the same number of points, the placement will be determined by the following criteria:

• higher points total from group games against respective teams
• better goal difference from group games against respective teams
• greater number of away goals scored in group games against respective teams
• better goal difference from all group games
• greater number of goals scored in all group matches
